Youth Sports This Fall

Sports get kids up and moving, which benefits their cardiovascular health, burns calories, raises metabolism and improves strength and mobility. Plus, playing youth sports also supports long-term exercise habits. 
 
Tiny Tots Soccer
Tiny Tots Soccer (ages 18-35 months) is a developmentally appropriate introduction to soccer for our youngest little kickers. This is a parent and me session that meets once a week for four weeks (Parents remain at their child's side through the duration of the activities). The program will run August 14 - October 7. 
Cost: $25 per child.
 
Smart Start Soccer
Smart Start Soccer (ages 3-4) teaches the fundamentals of  soccer while encouraging a love of the game. This program prepares players for the sports in a safe, fun and friendly environment. The program will run August 14 - October 7. Cost: $25 per child. 
Youth Soccer (ages 5-15) offers young athletes the opportunity to learn the fundamentals and techniques of the game while building their strength, flexibility and coordination in an environment that allows for growth and development. The program will run August 14 - October 7. 
Cost: $50 per child.
 
Cheerleading
Cheerleading (ages 5-12) is a chance for kids to make lifetime memories. Youth will learn various cheer, chants and floor stunts.  Cheer shirts are provided and will be kept, cheer skirts are provided but must be returned at the end of the season.  Cheerleaders will cheer for flag football, tackle football and soccer. The program will run August 14 - October 7.
Cost: $50 per child.
 
Flag Football
Flag Football (ages 5-10) is a fun, low-contact, continuous-action sport in which  the kids will learn the sport's various skills and techniques. Participants will meet at the Youth Sports Fields between 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on various scheduled dates. There will be two practices a week and games scheduled. The program will run October 9 - November 18.
Cost: $50 per child.
 
Tackle Football
Tackle Football (ages 11 & up) offers the young athletes the opportunity to develop the various skills, techniques and plays required to be successful on the field.  There will be a partnership with a tackle league, travel will be required. Each athlete's family will be responsible for purchasing a black helmet and mouth guard for their player; youth sports will provide all other gear for the players which will be returned at the end of the season. Dates are dependent on league.  Practices will start when league allows practices to start.
Cost: $130 per child.

Registration Information

Youth Sports will be registering kids in the fall season of their Soccer, Cheerleading, and Football programs on June 5 - July 14.  Registrations for these sports can be done at Parent Central Services. All youth must be registered with Child and Youth Services (CYS) with an up to date physicals.
