Recreation Aid (Trainee-Lifeguard) NF-01
This is a training position for a certified Lifeguard. FMWR pays for all certifications. Upon completion of certifications at SwimRVA, will be reassigned as a Recreation Aid (Lifeguard) NF-01. See job announcement for required certifications needed.
Recreation Aid (Lifeguard) NF-01
This position is for those with current Lifeguard Certification. The Recreation Aid (Lifeguard) is responsible for lifeguarding guests, providing pool area surveillance, responding to emergencies, and administering first aid as required.
Recreation Assistant (Head Lifeguard) NF-02
In addition to the duties in the previously listed job, this position assists manager by insuring adequate staffing of operations, and directs lifeguards as required in the performance of their duties.
