Excitement and fun await those who participate in the Fort Gregg-Adams Community Library Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme is Find Your Voice.
The Community Library's hosts the Summer Reading Program and a schedule of activities for children, teens, and adults with the aim of encouraging a love of reading.
Sign up for this year’s summer reading program by visiting the library; registration for this free program kicks off at the Community Library on June 21, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Following the day of registration, library patrons young and old are encouraged to join us for a series of meetings held in the Warrior Zone (Clarke Avenue, Bldg. #3650), at which there will special guest readers, crafts and exercise. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult for all Summer Reading Program events/activities. These meetings are scheduled for June 28, July 5, 12, 19 & 26, and August 2 & 9, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. The reading deadline for accumulating minutes is August 13 at midnight. Participants also can earn incentives by reaching their reading and activity goals. Winners will be contacted on August 16.
